Hello again-what this blog is now

Hi. It’s been a while.

If you’ve been here before, you’ve probably read a Percy Jackson review or six. This blog started in 2020, in the middle of lockdown, when I was 14 and bored and decided that the world needed to know what I thought about The Lightning Thief. It didn’t, particularly, but I wrote them anyway, and I’m glad I did.

A lot has happened since then. I’m older. School got harder. I read a lot of things that weren’t fantasy, and a few that were. I started travelling — properly travelling, the kind where you come home a slightly different person than the one who left. I learned that I have opinions about more things than just demigods.

So I’m reopening this corner of the internet, but with a wider door.

Here’s what you’ll find from now on:

  • Books, still — but not just YA fantasy. Whatever I’m reading.
  • Travel — places I’ve been, places I’m going, things that surprised me.
  • Life — school, friends, growing up, the in-between. The stuff nobody warns you about.
  • The occasional rant — I’m a teenager, this is non-negotiable.

The old book reviews are still here, tucked away in the archive. I haven’t deleted them. They’re a record of who I was, and I think that’s worth keeping around.

If you’re new — welcome. If you’ve been here since the Percy Jackson days — thanks for sticking around. Either way, I’m glad you’re reading.

See you soon.
